Prefinished solid Garapa flooring, a golden, light-colored Brazilian hardwood for rooms that need brightness without softness.

Garapa, also called grapia, grows from the Amazon to southern Brazil. It is one of the few light hardwoods with real density and decay resistance, which is why the U.S. market adopted it for decks before floors. The surface is chatoyant: the honey color shifts between light and dark as you cross the room, and it deepens to warm amber over the years. Harder than red oak, easier to work than any other species here.
