Prefinished solid Jatobá flooring, the best-selling exotic hardwood floor in American history, now back in its original solid format.
In the 1990s and 2000s Brazilian Cherry was in millions of U.S. homes, so buyers already know the color: light orange-brown when new, deepening to rich burgundy with light. The tree produces copal resin, once used in fine varnishes, and a pod with edible pulp. Exceptionally stiff and strong at 2,690 lbf, it takes decades of traffic and refinishes many times.
