Prefinished solid Peroba flooring, the honey-toned hardwood that built the historic homes of São Paulo, in a format the U.S. market has not seen much of.
Peroba was the structural and flooring wood of southern Brazil for a century; demolition-salvaged Peroba is now sold as reclaimed lumber at a premium. Peroba Mica is the lighter, yellowish variety of the family, fine textured and easy to work, with a color between white oak and teak that suits Scandinavian and coastal interiors. A rare, uncrowded option for designers tired of the usual species.
