Prefinished solid Tigerwood flooring, the most dramatic figure of any Brazilian hardwood, known in the U.S. as Tigerwood or Brazilian Koa.

Muiracatiara comes from the Amazon and belongs to the same genus as Goncalo Alves. Its reddish brown heartwood is crossed by irregular dark brown to black streaks, no two boards alike, which gives a floor the look of a tiger's coat. It is very durable, weathers well and, despite its density, machines cleanly. Popular in showrooms, restaurants and homes that want the floor to be the design statement.
